Google Caffeine Search Engine Update is Coming
Back in August, Google released a developer preview of their new search technology, Google Caffeine. Now, according to a recent blog post from Google software engineer, Matt Cutts, Google will move forward with the next stage of the Caffeine rollout, with a release scheduled for sometime after the holiday season.
In his blog, Matt says that Google Caffeine will go live at one data center, meaning that a very small percentage of Google users will see the new technology in their searches.
The developer preview of Google Caffeine has been taken down and replaced with the following text:
“Based on the success we’ve seen, we believe Caffeine is ready for a larger audience. Soon we will activate Caffeine more widely, beginning with one data center. This sandbox is no longer necessary and has been retired, but we appreciate the testing and positive input that webmasters and publishers have given.”
